Is this a person or an AI?

It is an AI assistant. SEND Unfolded is parent-led; the assistant does not replace a qualified medical, legal or SEND adviser.

Will my saved documents be shared?

No. Your saved family records and Evidence folder are never sent automatically. When you ask a question, your question, the recent chat and any file you choose to attach are sent to OpenAI to write the answer. OpenAI doesn’t use them to train its models. Avoid sharing more personal detail than you need to.

Can it guarantee an outcome?

No. Use AI to help understand information and prepare questions or drafts. Check facts, current rules, eligibility and dates against official sources or an appropriate adviser.

Can I use the organiser without the assistant?

Yes. Your child workspaces, evidence logs, meetings, letters and calendar are separate tools in SEND Unfolded.

What if I need urgent help?

Use “Help now” at the top of the page for urgent support. This assistant is not a monitored emergency service.
